MULTICULTURAL ALTERNATIVE ROCKERS LIVING DEÄD LIGHTS SET TO RELEASE THEIR DEBUT FULL-LENGTH ALBUM, BLACK LETTERS (GB SOUND), ON JANUARY 27, 2014
Los Angeles, CA: Multicultural alternative rockers Living Deäd Lights are excitedly preparing to release their debut full album, Black Letters (GB Sound) on January 27, 2014. After the successful releases of the first album cut and its accompanying video, "This Is Our Evolution," the band is also now getting ready to a release second single, title to be announced, in February with an accompanying video.
"This is Our Evolution," boasted a cool video directed by P.R. Brown, which debuted simultaneously in four countries exclusively (The U.S., U.K., Italy and France) two days before its wide release. The video had garnered nearly 120,000 YouTube hits... that is, until it was inexplicably taken off line... twice.
After playing a sold-out show at House of Blues in December, Living Deäd Lights is also planning an album release celebration/headlining show at Hollywood's Viper Room on Saturday, February 15. This show will also be recorded live.
According to lead guitarist Alan Damiën, "We have a message entangled inside a nastiness of sound, and inside a destructive energy there's a current of hope that exists. It's honestly something that we feel is missing in music and art today."
Black Letters was recorded at The Hobby Shop Recording Studios in L.A. It's a collaborative effort by Fred Archambault (Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones), David Spreng (Bob Dylan, Alice Cooper) and Tom Baker (NIN, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie).
Living Deäd Lights is: singer/guitarist Taka Tamada, originally from Kyoto, Japan; lead guitarist Alan Damiën from Hollywood, CA; bassist Martin Kelly from Ireland and the U.K.; and drummer Nick Battani from Austin, TX.
